VPOC vs POC — What's the Difference
TPO POC vs. Volume POC. Time at price vs. volume at price. Why both matter and how to read them together.
The TPO POC measures time at price — how many 30-minute periods printed at each level. The Volume POC (VPOC) measures volume traded at each level. They usually agree. When they don't, that's signal.
A divergence between TPO POC and VPOC tells you the market spent a lot of time at one level but did the real business elsewhere — a tell that the volume level is the one that actually matters going forward.
Stack the VPOCs from the last several sessions and you've built a map of where every meaningful pocket of business has occurred recently. Price respects this map far more than it respects round numbers or moving averages.
Composite profiles — multi-day VPOC reads — are where this gets really powerful. That's a paid-course topic.
